Firstly, after submitting the first ever post written in English, sharing it on all of my social media channels, and all of my husband’s social media channels, a total of some 20 000 followers, I was refreshing the statistics non-stop.
Refresh. Refresh. Refresh.
Remember Game of Thrones? Can you see and hear that old religious woman trying to get Cersei to confess? Confess. Confess. Confess. Then later on walking after her naked butt all though the city? Shame. Shame. Shame. But all I hear is refresh. Refresh. Refresh.
Poor old ⌘ (command) R have never seen so much action. 😉 (Refresh for all non mac users.)
Anyway, I was looking through the blog using the google translate version I needed to add in order for all of you to be able to read and understand the old posts pre-yesterday.
It is of UTMOST IMPORTANCE to EMPHASIZE that ALL my earlier post were written in Swedish. PLEASE!!! If it sounds toooooo weird to be real, it MOST LIKELY IS! 😀
English is my second language, like a bilingual thing. I will never claim that I write correctly all the time, but if a sentence I wrote sometime before yesterday sounds really off, and really weird – it’s probably not translated correctly, or it’s out of its context. Its AI. Not me.
There.
Before I let you go this time I want to tell you another little fun anecdote about Game of Thrones. Back in the day, when I worked at Paradox Interactive (an awesome Swedish games company) and long before I had even seen the epic saga myself, I got to sit on the Iron Throne, at a museum where we had one of our annual parties. Fun fact. I thought it was cool, and I smiled at all my colleagues taking pictures of themselves in it, wondering what the big fuss was about. Now I know. Nope, I didn’t take a picture of me in it.
End of rant.
Love and respect,
El
X.
